The Story of Chong Pang
The name Chong Pang honours Lim Chong Pang, a community leader who served the residents of this northern Singapore neighbourhood for decades. Before 1956, the area was known as Westhill Village. It was later renamed Chong Pang Village in recognition of his contributions, and the name has stayed with the community ever since.
For 40 years, the Chong Pang City neighbourhood centre served as the area's social and commercial heart. Now, that familiar landmark is making way for something far more ambitious: Chill @ Chong Pang, an integrated development that brings together a swimming complex, hawker centre with 58 food stalls, wet market with 123 stalls, community club, and over 300 car parking lots — all under one roof.
The swimming complex itself will feature an indoor Olympic-sized competitive pool, two leisure pools, a gym on the 6th floor, and fitness studios. It is the centrepiece of a development designed to be a daily destination, not just a place to swim.
Chill @ Chong Pang is also making history as the first new Government-sector integrated development to receive Platinum Super Low Energy (SLE) certification with four badges under the BCA Green Mark 2021 framework — setting a benchmark for sustainable public facilities in Singapore.

Swimming Lessons
